Vicki Kahn LAc, LPTA
Licensed Acupuncturist and Physical Therapy Assistant
Since the beginning of 2000, I have been working privately as an acupuncturist in my own practice. About a year ago I joined Dr. Flattery in his practice, and have continued to use acupuncture, but also use my physical therapy skills to assist Dr. Flattery with his patients. After becoming a certified Phlebotomist, I also assist with IV therapy, and all other laboratory testing.
I attended Green River Community College in 1980, and received a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I specialized in geriatric rehabilitation for the first few years, and then became a traveling LPTA, and traveled around the U.S. on assignments. In 1996, I attended the South West Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and received a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. I am nationally board certified, and a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine.
In my spare time, I enjoy learning to play the guitar, and making things out of wood. I participate in duathlons in the summer, so I spend a fair amount of time running and biking. My husband and our three dogs keep me busy the rest of the time with playing ball and hiking.
