Beth Jacobi, L.A.c., NTP

Licensed Acupuncture Provider and Certified Nutritional Therapy Practioner

practitioner_beth2Beth Jacobi L.Ac., NTP, received her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland in 1996.  Beth’s acupuncture license is issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners, and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Beth started her medical training as a Wilderness EMT, which applied to her work as a river and wilderness guide in the western states and Alaska.  After experiencing a traumatic injury and struggling to recover, Beth began searching for help beyond what conventional medicine could offer.  Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and qi gong allowed her to regain health, and inspired her to move to Portland to study at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.

After several years of being an acupuncturist, and a mother, Beth realized the profound effect diet,
sleep, and lifestyle have on overall well being.  In 2009, she became a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) through the Nutritional Therapy Association.

Acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, herbal medicine, nutritional therapy, and aromatherapy are the primary tools Beth offers to support patient’s on their paths towards greater ease, balance, and optimal wellness.

Some of the areas Beth addresses are;  stress relief,  digestive issues, immune support, acute and chronic pain, women’s health, sleep issues, addictions, and emotional and mental health.

Beth is committed to offering compassionate, individualized care for each patient.  In our increasingly fast paced and technologically advanced lives, these age old practices and wisdom, combined with modern medical understanding, can help us reconnect with our innate healing potential, and enjoy a renewed sense of balance, ease, and well-being.

Since receiving her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
in 1996, Beth has been a co-owner of Portland’s Open Gate Acupuncture clinic, a practitioner at Bend Community Acupuncture, as well as a private practitioner in Bend.  Beth is excited to now join the talented team of holistic practitioners at the Center for Integrative Medicine!
